Today is an A Day

 

 

HOSA Blood Drive is today from 8am to 1pm! The drive will be in the auxiliary gym, and you can sign up at the Red Cross Website using the sponsor code "RoxburyHS". There are also posters around the building with a scannable QR code. Give something that means something this Thanksgiving!"

Attention all athletes registered for Boys high school basketball.  There will be a brief informational meeting after school on Monday November 17th in the high school cafeteria.  All athletes interested in trying out for the team should attend.

Bonus Friday Night Lights This Week! 

Get ready for one last epic showdown under the lights — tonight at 6:30 PM!

 The Junior Girls are coming for the crown as they take on the reigning champion Senior Girls in an action-packed flag football battle!

 Then, don’t miss the Senior Boys Cheer Squad’s legendary return — and this time, the Junior Boys are stepping up to challenge them for a cash prize!

 Plus — the grade with the biggest fan turnout wins a free breakfast delivered to their homerooms on Tuesday! So bring your friends, wear your colors, and show your class pride!

 Drinks and snacks will be on sale throughout the night.
 Tickets are $3 in the cafeteria and $5 at the gate — so grab yours early!

Are you considering enlisting in the military?  For interested students, we will be hosting the ASVAB assessment on Tuesday, November 25th at 7:30 AM.  Please see your school counselor or check your counseling google classroom for the permission slip.  Signed permission slips are due back to guidance by Friday, November 21st.  Reach out to your school counselor with any questions.

 

Boys Tennis Interest Meeting Monday, 11/24.  After school in 0-231.

 

The Italian/ French and Spanish club will be hosting their annual Friendsgiving in the cafeteria on November 19th . Don't forget to check your Google Classroom to sign up to bring something. 


Spanish - El club italiano/ francés y español celebrará su tradicional cena de Acción de Gracias entre amigos en la cafetería el 19 de noviembre. No olviden mirar su Google Classroom para apuntarse y traer algo.

 

 

Important Information: 

Open Lunch Forms:

Senior Open Lunch Forms 2025-2026 under quick links. We will begin approving open lunch applications again in January 2026. 

 

 

RHS Security Protocols:  

Student sign-outs must be conducted by 1:45 pm. No exceptions. Bring a valid driver's license and/or passport with you. Students will not be released without valid identification and the pick up person MUST be listed under the student's emergency contact(s) lists.

Students over the age of 18 can be released on their own with parents' written permission using the Genesis Parent Portal or by emailing the attendance office:  mdrexler@roxbury.org .

Students under the age of 18, regardless of their grade, MUST be signed out in person by a parent/guardian. 

Visitors: must bring a valid drivers license or passport to the visitors entrance. You will then be checked in and given a visitors badge that is required to be displayed at all times while in the building. Upon exiting the building, you must return your badge to the security guard to be signed out.

RHS is not liable for any lost or stolen items dropped off at security. We are unable to interrupt class instruction to call students down to retrieve items left. They must come in between class time.
